Badalassi Carlo is an Italian tannery renowned for its vegetable-tanned, wax-pulled leathers. These hides are finished with a heavy application of natural waxes and oils that sit on the surface and work into the grain over time. This waxy finish gives the leather a distinct depth of character: scratches and creases don't damage it, they blend into the surface and become part of the leather's evolving patina. The wax content also makes the hide naturally more resistant to moisture, a practical everyday advantage. Over time and handling, the waxy pull develops a rich, lived-in look specific to this tannery's process.
Built as a wrap-style sleeve with a slightly larger footprint than the average card holder, giving it the extra capacity to carry more than just a handful of cards.
